Physical Therapy referral in Ohio

Ondoc's role is the first step: an online visit with a clinician licensed in Ohio who evaluates your physical therapy need, orders any labs or imaging required first, and issues a referral. Ondoc clinicians do not provide physical therapy themselves. Typical response under 24 hours.

Insurance or self-pay

The Ondoc online evaluation is billed to commercial insurance or $50 self-pay. Anything the referral leads to is billed separately by that provider.

About Physical Therapy

Physical therapists evaluate movement and function and design individualized rehabilitation programs for orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, vestibular, pelvic floor, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric conditions. Treatment combines manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, modalities, and patient education focused on safe return to activity and self-management.

Ondoc doesn't replace your physical therapy specialist — we help you get to one. The Ondoc visit covers the evaluation, any work-up that's appropriate, and the signed referral; specialty care itself happens separately.
