About Irregular menstruation visit
An irregular menstruation visit reviews cycle history, menstrual flow, contraception, pregnancy plans, and associated symptoms (acne, hirsutism, weight changes, galactorrhea, hot flashes). Baseline work-up commonly includes pregnancy testing, TSH, prolactin, CBC, and selected hormone panels; pelvic ultrasound is added when structural causes are suspected. Treatment depends on cause and reproductive goals and may include cycle regulation with combined hormonal contraception or a levonorgestrel IUD, targeted treatment of thyroid or pituitary disorders, and management of PCOS.
