← Ondoc for providers

A Sesame alternative that takes insurance too

Sesame is built around cash-pay visits that providers price themselves. On Ondoc you choose insurance, self-pay, or both. Self-pay visits are a simple $50 or $100, and you can also earn from Ondoc patient assignments.

How your balance works

  • Insurance Marketplace booking-$20

  • $100 self-pay booking (Ondoc collects $100, minus $20 fee)+$80

Questions

How does self-pay work?
You choose a $50 or $100 self-pay visit. The patient pays Ondoc at booking through Ondoc's secure checkout, and the full amount is credited to your balance. The $20 Marketplace fee is recorded separately, so a $50 visit nets +$30 and a $100 visit nets +$80.
How does insurance work?
For insurance bookings you bill and collect from the insurer and patient yourself, exactly as you do today. Ondoc records only the $20 Marketplace fee.
What are Ondoc assignments?
Ondoc sends you patients from its own booking flow. You earn $30 for each completed assignment. Nothing is earned for an assignment that isn't completed.
Can I do both?
Yes. Marketplace bookings and Ondoc assignments are two separate switches in the same provider dashboard. Turning one off never turns off the other.
