Phentermine HCl capsules
A once-daily capsule, the most common starting form.

A tablet form of the same medication.

About compounded medications
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for an individual patient. They are not FDA-approved, which means the FDA has not reviewed the compounded preparation itself for safety, effectiveness or quality. Your clinician will talk through whether a compounded formulation is the right choice for you.
What you pay
- Ondoc: $100 self-pay for the clinical evaluation, or your commercial insurance where accepted.
- Empower: the medication cost, billed to you directly by the pharmacy and set by the pharmacy.
The Ondoc fee pays for the clinical evaluation and is non-refundable. A paid evaluation does not guarantee that a prescription will be issued — that is the clinician's decision.
