A licensed clinician performs the physical exam evaluation by video and completes and signs the Ondoc physical exam form when that is clinically appropriate and when what your requirement asks for can reasonably be assessed remotely. Completion is a clinical decision, never automatic.

What does the signed document look like?

It is the Ondoc physical exam form: your details, medical history, vitals as recorded, the examination findings, the clinician's notes, and the clinician's signature with credentials and date. It arrives on your Ondoc tracking page when it is ready.

What can't be done online?

Ondoc does not perform drug screening or specimen collection, hearing or vision testing, respirator fit testing, functional-capacity testing, workers' compensation or fitness-for-duty examinations, and does not issue DOT medical certificates. If your requirement includes any of those, or needs findings that must be measured in person, you will need an in-person examiner for that part.

Will my employer or school accept it?

That is their decision, not ours — we can't promise acceptance. Many requirements are satisfied by a clinician-signed examination; some name a specific examiner or an in-person exam. Read your requirement first, and the clinician will tell you plainly if it cannot be met remotely.

“Can I upload my employer's form for you to sign?”: No. Ondoc completes and signs Ondoc's own physical exam form; it does not accept arbitrary uploaded documents for signature. Most employers and schools accept a clinician-signed physical exam form, but check with yours before booking if they require their exact form.
“I need a physical form signed today”: Book the earliest available exam time. The signed form is delivered through your Ondoc documents after the exam, not before it — nothing is signed without the examination.
“Is a virtual visit enough for a physical exam form?”: Parts of a physical exam require in-person measurement, and any field the clinician did not personally obtain is left blank rather than filled in. If your form requires vitals or findings that cannot be obtained remotely, you will need an in-person exam.
