Preventive care

Your annual physical — done online

Preventive labs ordered up front, USPSTF-aligned screening recommendations, and a written prevention plan from a licensed provider. No waiting room.

Your annual wellness visit is completed online with a licensed clinician — history, medications, preventive needs, risks, screening recommendations, and your written plan. If lab work is ordered, you give the sample at a nearby lab. Extra testing or an in-person evaluation is arranged only when your clinician finds it clinically indicated.

Start your annual physical online

Ondoc's annual wellness visit is completed virtually with a licensed clinician: history, medications, preventive risks, screening needs, counseling, and your written plan.

How it works

  1. Share your medical and family history, medications, and any readings you already have.
  2. Your clinician covers preventive risk, age-appropriate screening, immunization status, and counseling — online.
  3. Screening labs are ordered and you give the sample at a lab near you.
  4. You get a written preventive plan and clear next steps.

Insurance & cost

Use commercial insurance where it is supported, or self-pay at a flat $50 per approved request. Select insurance or self-pay in care discovery to see Ondoc's current payer status before entering personal information. Member-specific eligibility, active status, and benefits are verified by our insurance verification team. Medicare and Medicaid are not accepted as insurance.

Frequently asked

What is included in an annual physical?
A full review of medical and family history, medications, and preventive-care needs, a discussion of your health risks, age- and risk-appropriate screening recommendations, immunization status review, preventive counseling, review of any readings or records you share, and ordering of preventive labs such as lipid panel, A1c, and CBC. The visit is completed online with your clinician; further testing or an in-person evaluation is arranged only when it is clinically indicated for you.
Is this the same as a Medicare Annual Wellness Visit?
No. Ondoc does not accept Medicare and does not provide the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit benefit. Ondoc's annual wellness visit is a preventive visit for adults who self-pay or use commercial insurance.
Can you order labs in advance?
Yes. We send standing orders to Quest or LabCorp so your results are back before the visit, and the prescriber reviews them with you.
What about a DOT, sports, or pre-employment physical?
Those are separate forms with specific requirements. See our DOT physical, sports physical, and physical exam form pages. DOT certification is issued in person by a certified examiner, and employer requirements such as drug screening or hearing and vision testing are done in person elsewhere.
