ARB (Angiotensin Receptor Blocker)
A blood-pressure medication similar to ACE inhibitors but without the cough.
ARBs (losartan, valsartan, telmisartan) block the receptor that angiotensin II acts on. Benefits and indications overlap with ACE inhibitors but ARBs don't cause the dry cough. They're commonly used in hypertension, heart failure, and diabetic kidney disease.
