Does Tricare cover telehealth UTI visits?
Most Tricare plans cover acute-care telehealth visits at parity with in-person urgent care. Select insurance during discovery to see Ondoc’s current payer status. Member-specific eligibility, active status, and benefits are verified by our insurance verification team.
Will the antibiotic be covered under Tricare?
First-line UTI antibiotics (nitrofurantoin, TMP-SMX, fosfomycin) are on virtually every Tricare formulary — typically Tier 1 generics.
What if insurance does not apply?
Self-pay is available for the Ondoc visit, and you choose whether to continue before any payment.
