Does Aetna cover copd in Florida?

Select Aetna during discovery to see Ondoc's current payer status before patient details. Member-specific eligibility, active status, and benefits are verified by our insurance verification team.

Formulary & tier

Most LAMA/LABA combination inhalers require PA with documented FEV1 and prior bronchodilator trial.

Aetna's formulary tiers most generic refills at a low copay. If your medication needs a prior authorization, our clinician can submit it on your behalf.

Commonly prescribed: Spiriva · Trelegy · Anoro
Prior authorization

Aetna typically requires PA for lama/laba combinations prescribed for copd. Ondoc's clinician completes the PA form and submits it directly to Aetna — you don't fill out any paperwork.

Aetna requires prior authorization for GLP-1s, brand-name stimulants, and some specialty drugs. We handle the PA paperwork and fax it to Aetna.

Florida state mandate

Florida follows standard commercial-formulary rules for copd. No state-specific mandate expands coverage beyond Aetna's national formulary at this time. Federal ACA preventive-services rules still apply where relevant.
