Does Highmark WNY cover an online doctor's-note visit?
Most Highmark WNY plans often include telehealth visits for acute symptoms (cold, flu, GI upset, etc.) at the same rate as an in-person visit. Select insurance during discovery to see Ondoc’s current payer status. Member-specific eligibility, active status, and benefits are verified by our insurance verification team.
What if insurance does not apply?
Self-pay is available for the Ondoc visit, and you choose whether to continue before any payment.
Can I use my Highmark WNY HSA or FSA?
Yes. Telehealth visits and notes for medically documented absences are HSA / FSA eligible.
