Endocrinologists manage hormonal and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders, polycystic ovary syndrome, osteoporosis, hypogonadism, lipid disorders, and obesity. They interpret complex hormonal axes and dynamic testing (suppression and stimulation tests, oral glucose tolerance, dexamethasone suppression), manage advanced insulin pump and continuous glucose monitor therapy, and oversee long-term therapy for complex thyroid disease, including post-thyroidectomy and post-radioactive iodine management.
