About General consultation
A general consultation is an open-ended visit for health questions that do not fit a single specialty bucket — new symptoms, abnormal lab results, lifestyle decisions, medication reviews, preventive planning, or a second opinion. It works well for patients between PCP visits or those who do not yet have an established clinician. The clinician reviews relevant history, sets realistic next steps, and refers for specialty care, imaging, or in-person assessment when warranted.
