UTI treatment with GEHA
If you carry GEHA, your telehealth UTI visit is usually covered the same as an in-person urgent-care visit. The antibiotic, when prescribed, runs through your pharmacy benefit.
Ondoc is in network with GEHA and accepts it for online visits. Your exact eligibility, active status, benefits, and plan applicability are verified by our insurance verification team.
Ondoc accepts Medicare, self-pay, and major commercial insurance. Medicaid is not accepted.

- Follow-up available if symptoms don't resolve
- $50 self-pay is available for the Ondoc visit
FAQs for GEHA members
Does GEHA cover telehealth UTI visits?
Most GEHA plans cover acute-care telehealth visits at parity with in-person urgent care. Select insurance during discovery to see Ondoc’s current payer status. Member-specific eligibility, active status, and benefits are verified by our insurance verification team.
Will the antibiotic be covered under GEHA?
First-line UTI antibiotics (nitrofurantoin, TMP-SMX, fosfomycin) are on virtually every GEHA formulary — typically Tier 1 generics.
What if insurance does not apply?
Self-pay is available for the Ondoc visit, and you choose whether to continue before any payment.
