Does Ondoc prescribe controlled substances like Adderall or Xanax?
No. Per DEA rules, controlled substances (Schedules II–V) generally require an in-person visit. Ondoc handles non-controlled maintenance meds only.
Federal law (the Ryan Haight Act, plus DEA telehealth rules) requires an in-person evaluation before a controlled substance can be prescribed by telehealth. That applies to Adderall, Ritalin, Vyvanse, Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Ambien, hydrocodone, oxycodone, testosterone, Suboxone, and others.
Ondoc only handles non-controlled maintenance medications — blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, antidepressants (non-controlled like SSRIs/SNRIs), asthma inhalers, GERD, diabetes (oral), birth control, and many others.
If you need a controlled substance refilled, search for an in-person clinic in your state or ask your existing prescriber for a bridge supply while you book.
